No Accounts or Personal Profiles
You do not need to sign up, log in, or create a profile to use Ambo. Core app features do not collect your name, contacts, or private devotional content. For limited app analytics, Ambo uses a random install identifier that is not linked to your name or contact information.
If you choose to join a waitlist or receive a resource by email, we collect your email address and basic signup details. We use this information only to provide what you requested and send updates you agreed to receive. Limited technical information may also be processed to prevent abuse. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service or meet security and legal requirements. You can email support@theambo.app to request deletion.
No Ads
Ambo does not show ads, sell data, or track you across other apps and websites. We do not collect advertising identifiers or other personal identifiers for marketing.
Limited App and Website Metrics
Ambo automatically collects limited usage and technical data, such as app or page activity, app version, general device information, and performance data. A random install identifier helps us understand retention and feature use without knowing your identity. We use this data only to keep Ambo reliable and improve features, not for advertising.
We do not collect private prayer text, custom prayers, confession content, search terms, precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. Website analytics may process limited device and network information. Where consent is required, optional analytics stay off until you allow them. You can change your analytics choice at any time below.
Content and Support Updates
Ambo connects to service providers when needed to download content and audio, manage optional support purchases, prevent abuse, or create share links. These requests can include the technical or content details needed to provide the feature, such as a purchase identifier or podcast link details. We do not use this information for advertising or to build a personal profile. Service providers that handle data for Ambo must protect it consistently with this policy.
When you contact support, we may ask for your private Support ID to investigate and troubleshoot the issue. Sharing it is voluntary. You can decline, but this may limit our ability to diagnose the problem or help you.
